Kodagu or Coorg is one of the most sought-after destinations by tourists. When one is asked to speak of Coorg, he or she lists out a myriad of things ranging from the luscious greenery, coffee plantations, pork curry and the traditional festivals celebrated by this region.
KODAVAS
Kodava means indigenous people, language or culture. We Kodavas (Kodava, anglicised as Coorgs), are considered a patrilineal ethno-lingual community from the region of Kodagu, in Karnataka state of southern India, who natively speak the Kodava language. Traditionally they are land-owning agriculturists with martial customs. We practice family exogamy and caste endogamy Kodavas are the only people in India permitted to carry firearms without a licence.

JK was founded in 2018 by Kuttanda Sudhin Mandanna, a young and dynamic First-Generation Entrepreneur who hails from Ammathi, Kodagu.

After registering, users can create a customized profile revealing information about themselves by posting text, instant messages, photos, videos and multimedia which is shared with any other users that have agreed to be their "friend", or, with a different privacy setting, with any reader. Kodava users can also use various embedded apps, join common-interest groups, and receive notifications of their friends' activities etc.
